I think he's going to be a nightmare for anyone below the very top of the division. Looking forward to the fights tonight. Dirrell apparently struggled at the scales and only flew into the UK last week. Not the most professional behaviour I've ever seen, but one cannot read too much into it either. Most of my 411mania colleagues are expecting Dirrell to previal and Graham Houston is also tipping the American for the upset. However, I still see Froch being too big, too strong and experienced for Dirrell I think he'll win on points. I think technically, Booth is the superior boxer of the two, but Munroe is just so damn strong at that weight. I think he’s going to be a nightmare for anyone below the very top of the division.

Someone was telling me at the venue that Hunter had been on a bit of a rampage in his down time, 'the scourge of Hartlepool's bouncers' was the phrase I heard used. Munroe was ringside and posed for pics afterwards with "2 Smooth". Looks like it'll happen but Maloney was playing it down for the moment, I think it's one he wants to build down the line. I'd take Booth on last night's performance, he surprised the hell out of me. I thought Hunter was a live underdog but Booth was different class. Too much inactivity on Hunter's part. It's ok for guys like Vitali Klitschko and Floyd Mayweather to take time off away the ring, they're never out of the gym and truly live the life of a professional. Whereas Hunter, by his own admission, likes a drink or two and certainly wasn't living in the gym during his time away from the ring. That takes nothing away from Booth though who, like I said the other day, is in the form of his life and domestically is probably one of the most technically sound boxers around at the moment. If Booth is to go on to the next level however, I think he may need to drop back down to bantamweight. He's still quite small for a super-bantam and physically I don't see him being a match for Munroe, although by the sounds of things, that fight looks certain not to happen.
